We search for bird in Meratus Mountains area, home to over 300 different bird species including black-browed babbler, Meratus jungle flycatcher and the Meratus white-eye.

Trekking up the Meratus Mountains and staying two nights in a jungle campsite.

Trying to spot the black-browed babbler, the Meratus jungle flycatcher, the Meratus white-eye, and other bird species.

Optional extra (no cost) is a beautiful 2 hour bamboo rafting trip from Loksado.

Good to Know

Difficulty Rating: High. Involves longer hikes, wilderness and remote camping. High level of fitness required. Requires riding on the back of a motorbike to reach the mountain trail. Recommended Ages 15+.
