Cruise Tanjung Puting National Park

This journey into Tanjung Puting National Park is all about relaxing on the deck of your houseboat and watching the rainforest drift past. Sit back and enjoy some “me time”, sipping cups of tea/coffee and enjoying the tasty meals prepared by your onboard chef. Cast an eye to the forest so you don’t miss any orangutan, gibbons, probiscis monkey or macaque troupes that come down to the riverside.  There is plenty to like about this beautiful boat trip into one of the world great national parks.

Orangutan Adventure

Amazing wildlife, beautiful tropical rainforests and orangutans.  What’s not to like!  On this journey you visit two of Kalimantan’s top national parks, Tanjung Puting National Park and Sebangau National Park.

Tanjung Puting National Park is all about relaxing on the deck of your boat, watching the rainforest drift past, enjoying tasty meals prepared by your chef and spotting orangutan, probiscis monkey & gibbon.

Subangau National Park is a remote wilderness with fewer tourists.  The orangutans are wild in a wetland habitat.  Two nights spent deep inside the park gives time to appreciate and enjoy.

Inspirational National Parks

On this journey you visit and stay inside two fantastic national parks, Sebangau and Gunung Palung, both magnificently wild and home to orangutan.

Gunung Palung National Park is a global treasure which recently reopened to tourists.  Unspoiled, remote and spectacular in every way.  Majestic forests, wild orangutan, cool mountain streams and breathtaking views.

Sebangau National Park is a beautiful remote wilderness with wild orangutans in a wetland habitat.

Expedition Kalimantan

Searching for Orangutan, spectacular wilderness, wetland boating, mountain hiking, rainforest camping, bamboo rafting, Dayak villages, relaxed beaches, authentic Kalimantan life and much more.  This expedition is packed with variety and full of adventure.

This trip takes you to parts of Borneo very rarely visited by foreign travellers, it is perfect for people wanting to see Indonesia beyond Bali.

Kalimantan Birdwatching

The excitement of spotting exotic and rare birds in the magnificent Borneo jungle is an experience you will cherish for a lifetime.   This tour provides ample reward for your efforts.  Hiking deep into the Meretas mountains is no “walk in the park” but your reward is a camp-site deep in birdwatching paradise.  A trip highlight is searching for the endangered black-browed babbler rediscovered in 2020 after 172 years. You will also cherish the opportunity to sight Meratus jungle flycatcher, Meratus white-eye, the Bornean barbet, Bornean treepie, Bornean whistler, Bornean leaf-bird, Chestnut-hoodedlaughing thrush and others.
